The Swim
Starting from the scenic village of Robert's Cove, you'll swim out past deep sea caves and round the headland to discover one of Cork's most dramatic coastlines. Towering sea cliffs, views of Cork Harbour's mouth, and the broader East Cork landscape all unfold as you swim north.
After 4km into the swim, you'll reach Ringabella Private Beach — a stunning, utterly secluded beach that's only accessible from the ocean. This is a moment to appreciate the privilege of arriving somewhere on foot that most people will never see. From Ringabella, cross to Bunnyconellans Headland, round it, and head towards the finale: the beautiful Myrtleville Beach with its familiar golden sand appearing on the horizon.
